Achieve a Slim Jawline at VIBE Plastic Surgery!
Learn how ultrasound-assisted liposuction (LipoSound) can effectively remove stubborn double chin fat and tighten skin for a defined jawline.

* Patient Information
# Female in her 20s
# Persistent double chin fat despite consistent dieting
* Consultation
# By using ultrasound, subcutaneous fat can be broken down into fine particles. (Think of it as turning ‘orange pulp’ into ‘orange juice.’) This allows the fat to be extracted through tiny openings, and because it can be removed using only a small cannula, the procedure is highly effective.

The Principle of LipoSound
# ‘LipoSound’ is a device that uses ultrasound to emulsify fat. It liquefies fat particles, which are normally like orange pulp, into a juice-like state.
1. It is much smoother – fat can be squeezed out like water without applying great force, and it can be suctioned using only a small cannula. Therefore, there is much less irritation, leading to faster recovery from bruising and swelling. Consequently, ‘bio-bond’ (post-surgical adhesions) is also significantly reduced. 2. Since ultrasound is emitted beneath the dermis, there is less skin sagging after the procedure, and you can achieve additional skin elasticity and tightening effects.
# Bio-bonds may form starting about two weeks after surgery, which can feel uncomfortable. In such cases, applying warm compresses and stretching will help them resolve faster. Please note that we also provide injections to help dissolve these bonds during the one-month follow-up appointment!
Consultations and surgeries should be performed by a board-certified plastic surgeon!
