Surgical Plan

For this surgery, we performed:

Bridge enhancement using an implant

1. Nasal Tip Surgery Using Septal Cartilage

The tip of the nose is the key area that determines the overall quality of the result.

In male rhinoplasty, a natural and firm-feeling tip is more important than an excessively high or upturned tip often seen in female rhinoplasty.

We reinforced the supporting structure of the tip using septal cartilage and set the appropriate height and direction.

As a result:

The nasal tip is stably maintained,

A natural straight line is formed, and

The masculine impression is further emphasized.

2. Bridge Enhancement Using an Implant

Previously, the low bridge made the center of the face look flat.

By using an implant to create a bridge of moderate height,

we added dimension to the entire face and created a more sophisticated image.

For men, the line where the forehead and nose connect naturally is more important than an excessively high bridge, so we designed it according to his facial proportions.

3. Improving Nose Width Through Osteotomy

One of the biggest changes in the front view is the width of the nose.

Through osteotomy, we adjusted the width of the wide-looking nasal bone to create a more refined nose line.

Many people only think about height when it comes to rhinoplasty, but in reality, reducing the width often leads to a much more sophisticated impression.

This patient also saw a significant improvement in his frontal impression through osteotomy.

Post-operative Changes

1. A clearer impression from the front as well as the side

While the center of the face looked somewhat blurred before surgery due to the wide nose,

the facial features appear much more distinct after the central axis of the nose was refined.

2. Completion of a natural masculine straight nose

The recent trend in male rhinoplasty is not an excessively high nose.

A straight line that extends naturally while harmonizing with the face is preferred.

This patient was also able to achieve a clean, straight nose line without any artificial feeling.

3. Increased overall facial dimension

As the nose formed appropriate height and volume in the center of the face,
