Male Deviated Nose & Functional Rhinoplasty (Rhinitis Surgery)
A case study of a male patient in his 20s who underwent functional and aesthetic rhinoplasty to correct a deviated, bulbous nose and chronic nasal congestion.

* Basic Information
# Male in his 20s
# I want to improve my bulbous and deviated nose. I also feel uncomfortable breathing and my nose is often blocked; can we fix that together?
* Consultation
# The patient was stressed due to a low nasal bridge and a blunt, bulbous tip. We decided to create a masculine, straight-line profile.
# Since the axis of the nose itself was tilted diagonally, the patient hoped to improve this as much as possible. While it is impossible to perfectly correct a tilted axis, we planned to align it as closely as possible.
# In addition to aesthetic improvements, we decided to address the breathing difficulties through functional rhinoplasty.
* Plan
# Bridge Rhinoplasty (Hump reduction, silicone implant, osteotomy)
# Tip Rhinoplasty (Septal extension graft, bulbous tip correction)
# Functional Rhinoplasty (Rhinitis surgery)

* Post-operative Progress
1. In the post-operative results, the bulbous tip was corrected, resulting in a natural yet sharp nose.
2. Although the deviation was not 100% corrected, the axis was improved to a very satisfying degree.
3. In cases where the septum is severely deviated, breathing discomfort can be corrected through functional rhinoplasty. Achieve both aesthetic and functional goals at once!
Consultations and surgeries should be performed by a board-certified plastic surgeon!
