Rhinoplasty for Low Bridge and Bulbous Tip
A case study of a 20-year-old female patient who achieved a refined, sophisticated look through bulbous tip correction and bridge augmentation after unsatisfactory filler results.

* Basic Information
# Female in her 20s
# Low nasal bridge and a bulbous tip.
# Dissatisfied with the shape even after receiving filler injections twice.
* Consultation
# The patient visited us seeking correction for a bulbous tip that could not be resolved with fillers. While a bulbous nose was traditionally associated with ‘good fortune’ in the past, many now seek improvement because it can create a blunt or heavy impression.
# Due to the low bridge, her face appeared flatter and wider than it actually was.
# We determined that a satisfying nasal line could be achieved by refining the tip to be more slender while raising and smoothing the bridge line.
* Surgical Plan
# Dissolving existing fillers
# Tip plasty (Bulbous tip correction)
# Bridge augmentation (Silicone implant, Osteotomy)

* Post-operative Progress
1. The septal cartilage was harvested while preserving the structure, and the nasal tip was shaped using both septal and ear cartilage. As a result, a natural yet sharp ‘straight-semi-basal’ line was achieved.
2. Now that the bulbous tip has been corrected, her overall impression looks much more sophisticated :)
