The Principle of LipoSound

# ‘LipoSound’ is a device that uses ultrasound to emulsify fat. It liquefies fat particles—which are like orange pulp—into a juice-like state.

1. It is much smoother – fat can be squeezed out like water without applying great force, and it can be suctioned using only a small cannula. Therefore, there is much less irritation, leading to faster recovery from bruising and swelling. Consequently, ‘Bio-bond’ (post-operative adhesions) is also significantly reduced. 2. Since ultrasound is emitted beneath the dermis, you can also gain additional skin elasticity and lifting effects. (As you may know, devices like Ultherapy, Shurink, and Doublo Gold all operate on ultrasonic principles.)

# Generally, there may be swelling and bruising for about a week after the procedure. It is important to wear a compression garment (face band) and apply cold compresses diligently.

# After two weeks, the treated area may feel tight and firm. This is due to the adhesion phenomenon commonly called ‘Bio-bond,’ which occurs as fibrous tissue forms to heal the treated area.
