Mango Canthoplasty (Lateral & Lower Canthoplasty, Dual Canthoplasty)
Case study of a 20-year-old female with deep-set eyes who achieved a wider, softer gaze through Mango Canthoplasty.

* Basic Information
# Female in her 20s
# Deep-set eyes make the eyes look small and narrow.
# Desires to open up the outer corners of the eyes for a more refreshed look.
* Consultation
# The patient visited because the outer corners of her eyes were slanted upwards and closed off, giving a narrow and stuffy impression.
# Due to her deep-set orbital structure, there are many limitations for canthoplasty. The plan is to fix the tissue as deep as possible into the periosteum to prevent the eyes from appearing too ‘exposed’ or floating.
# We planned to open the eyes wide using VIBE Plastic Surgery’s signature ‘Mango Canthoplasty’.
* Surgical Plan
# Mango Canthoplasty (Lateral + Lower Canthoplasty)

* Post-operative Progress
# Because of the deep-set eyes, the distance between the eyeball and the periosteum is quite far, making it a difficult structure for canthoplasty. However, the patient is very satisfied as the outer corners are now more open, making the eyes look larger and the overall impression much softer!
# VIBE’s unique Mango Canthoplasty significantly reduces the recurrence rate through secure fixation!!
