Revision Rhinoplasty for Bulbous and Short Nose
A case study of a 20-year-old female patient who underwent revision rhinoplasty to correct a bulbous tip and excessive nostril visibility caused by a previous surgery.

* Basic Information
# Female in her 20s
# Had rhinoplasty years ago with silicone and artificial dermis, but is stressed because the nasal tip remains bulbous.
# Since the surgery, the nose has become shorter, making the nostrils very visible.
* Consultation
1. Although she had surgery years ago, she was dissatisfied because the nasal tip was too short and blunt.
2. We planned to use a combination of septal cartilage, ear cartilage, and donated rib cartilage to create a more defined and sophisticated nasal tip.
* Surgical Plan
1. Bridge Rhinoplasty
- Replacement of the implant
- Smoothing the dorsal hump
2. Tip Rhinoplasty
- Septal extension graft
- Bulbous nose correction
- Short nose correction

* Post-operative Progress
1. The post-operative results show a completed ‘straight-half-curved’ (Jik-ban) profile.
2. As the previously short nasal tip was extended, the overall facial appearance became more refined, leading to high patient satisfaction.
