Bulbous Nose & Drooping Tip Correction (Revision Surgery)
A revision rhinoplasty case for a woman in her 20s using donated rib cartilage to correct a drooping tip and bulbous appearance after a previous septal cartilage surgery.

* Basic Information
# Female in her 20s
# She underwent surgery with septal cartilage several years ago, but is stressed because the tip of her nose has dropped and looks bulbous.
* Consultation
1. The patient visited the clinic because her nasal tip had drooped and become blunt over time following a previous rhinoplasty.
2. Since the septal cartilage had already been used, we decided to use donated rib cartilage for the revision.
* Surgical Plan
1. Bridge Rhinoplasty
- Replacement of the implant
- Osteotomy
2. Tip Rhinoplasty
- Septal extension graft
- Correction of drooping tip & bulbous nose

* Post-operative Progress
1. A sharp ‘straight-half-curved’ (Jik-ban) line was achieved during the post-operative recovery.
2. As the tip of the nose became more defined, the face looks more sophisticated and even smaller as an added bonus!
Consultations and surgeries should be performed by a board-certified plastic surgeon!
