The Principles of LipoSound

# ‘LipoSound’ is a device that uses ultrasound to emulsify fat. Because it liquefies fat particles—turning them from something like orange pulp into juice—it offers several benefits:

1. Much smoother process: Fat can be expressed like water without applying significant force, and it can be suctioned through a very small cannula. This results in less irritation, leading to faster recovery with minimal bruising and swelling. Consequently, ‘bio-bonds’ (post-operative adhesions) are also significantly reduced. 2. Since ultrasound is emitted beneath the dermis, there is less skin sagging after the procedure, and you can achieve additional skin elasticity and tightening effects.

# Around 2 weeks after surgery, you may experience some discomfort as bio-bonds begin to form. During this time, applying warm compresses and stretching will help them resolve faster. Please note that we also provide injections to help soften these bonds during the one-month follow-up appointment!
