Low, Short Nose & Hump Nose Correction

A case study of a female patient in her 20s who corrected a bumpy hump nose and a short, upturned tip for a more refined and natural profile.

Low, Short Nose & Hump Nose Correction

* Basic Information

# Female in her 20s

# Low nasal bridge with an uneven line due to a hump

# Short-looking nose with a slightly upturned tip

* Consultation

# The patient was highly stressed by the uneven nasal line caused by a hump on a low bridge. We planned to create a natural yet sharp nasal line using septal cartilage and ear cartilage.

# She also wanted to improve the short appearance of her nose relative to her face shape caused by the upturned tip. We focused on the nasolabial angle by extending the tip to reduce nostril visibility from the front.

* Surgical Plan

# Bridge Rhinoplasty (Hump reduction, silicone implant)

# Tip Rhinoplasty (Extension graft with septal cartilage + Ear cartilage: Onlay graft)

Front View (Before / 1 Month After)
Right 45-degree View (Before / 1 Month After)
Right Side View (Before / 1 Month After)
Left 45-degree View (Before / 1 Month After)
Left Side View (Before / 1 Month After)

* Post-operative Progress

# This patient had a low bridge with a very prominent unevenness along the nasal line.

# By smoothing the hump and raising the bridge, we transformed the line into something much smoother and more sophisticated.

# This was a satisfying case where nostril visibility from the front was significantly reduced, and the overall facial profile became more refined as the nose was heightened. ^^
