The Principles of LipoSound
# ‘LipoSound’ is a device that uses ultrasound to emulsify fat. It liquefies fat particles, which are typically like orange pulp, into a juice-like consistency.
1. Much smoother ~ Fat can be squeezed out like water without applying significant force, and it can be suctioned using only small cannulas. This results in less irritation, leading to faster recovery from bruising and swelling, and significantly less ‘bio-bond’ (post-operative adhesions). 2. Because the ultrasound is emitted beneath the dermis, there is less skin sagging after the procedure, and additional skin elasticity and tightening effects can be achieved.
# You may experience discomfort as bio-bonds form starting about two weeks after surgery. In such cases, applying warm compresses and stretching will help them resolve faster. Please note that we also provide injections to help dissolve these bonds during the one-month follow-up appointment!
