The Principle of LipoSound

# ‘LipoSound’ is a device that uses ultrasound to emulsify fat. Because it liquefies fat particles—like turning orange pulp into juice—it offers several benefits:

1. Much smoother process: Fat can be squeezed out like water without applying great force, and it can be suctioned through a very small cannula. This means less irritation, leading to faster recovery from bruising and swelling, and significantly less bio-bond (post-surgical adhesions).
2. Since ultrasound is emitted beneath the dermis, there is less skin sagging after the procedure, and you can achieve additional skin elasticity and tightening effects.

# About two weeks after surgery, you may experience discomfort due to the formation of bio-bonds. During this time, warm compresses and stretching will help them resolve faster. We also provide injections to help dissolve them during the one-month follow-up, so please keep that in mind!

This is my review of facial liposuction by Dr. Young-moon Yoo at VIBE Plastic Surgery. I’m not exactly chubby, but my double chin was a major stress point, so I got double chin lipo + Botox. The surgery itself was finished quickly and went well! I did find the injection of anesthesia and the needle a bit painful... but I’m good at enduring pain, so I just kept my eyes shut and it was over soon. lol. Immediately after surgery, there was more swelling than I expected, so my face and neck looked like one straight line.. I remember being so shocked when I first looked in the mirror. Also, because the anesthesia hadn’t fully worn off, my pronunciation was slurred. I dropped my earphones on the bus home and had to apologize to the person behind me with slurred speech.. it was kind of funny. Even before the swelling fully subsided, I could definitely feel that the double chin was gone! On the second day, even with the swelling, I was happy because there was less fat than before. The bruising lasted about one to two weeks, but my parents didn’t even notice! My younger sibling noticed immediately, so I guess it varies by person, and it can be covered with makeup to some extent. I was really worried about bruising before the procedure, but it wasn’t as bad as I feared. Around the second week, it felt a bit stiff due to the bio-bond, but it got much better after getting a bio-bond injection at the clinic during my one-month checkup. Overall, I’m very satisfied considering the price. It’s not exactly ‘dramatic,’ but it’s definitely not subtle either! Personally, I’m so happy that the fat is gone when I tilt my head down. Since I didn’t have much fat to begin with, people around me don’t even suspect liposuction; they just say things like ‘Your face looks great lately.’ Oh! I’ve already recommended it to my close friends. The price isn’t too burdensome, and I highly recommend it to anyone stressed about their double chin.
