The Principles of LipoSound
# ‘LipoSound’ is a device that uses ultrasound to emulsify fat. It liquefies fat particles—similar to orange pulp—into a juice-like consistency.
1. It is much gentler – fat can be squeezed out like water without applying significant force, and it can be suctioned using a very small cannula. This results in less irritation, leading to faster recovery from bruising and swelling. Consequently, ‘bio-bond’ (post-surgical adhesions) is also significantly reduced. 2. Because ultrasound is emitted beneath the dermis, there is less skin sagging after the procedure, and you can achieve additional skin elasticity and tightening effects.
# About two weeks after surgery, you may experience some discomfort as bio-bonds begin to form. During this time, applying warm compresses and stretching will help them resolve faster. Please note that we also provide injections to help soften these bonds during the one-month follow-up appointment!
