Hump Nose Rhinoplasty & Functional Rhinoplasty
A case study of a 20-year-old female patient who underwent hump nose correction and functional rhinoplasty to improve both aesthetics and breathing.

* Basic Information
# Female in her 20s
# Bumpy nasal bridge due to a hump
# Low nasal tip
# Difficulty breathing due to a severely deviated septum
* Consultation
1. The patient’s primary concern was the blunt and low shape of the nasal tip.
2. She also wanted to improve the bumpy side profile caused by the hump.
3. Regarding the deviated septum, we decided to perform functional rhinoplasty to achieve functional improvement.
Pre-operative CT scans revealed a severely deviated septum and inferior turbinate hypertrophy.
* Surgical Plan
1. Nasal Bridge Surgery
- Hump correction
- Deviated nose correction
2. Nasal Tip Surgery
- Septal extension graft
- Correction of bulbous tip, long nose, and nasolabial angle
3. Functional Rhinoplasty

* Post-operative Progress
1. The post-operative results show a natural yet well-defined nasal tip.
2. With the hump corrected, the smooth nasal bridge gives a more feminine and sophisticated appearance.
3. In cases of severe septal deviation, functional rhinoplasty can correct breathing discomfort. Achieve both aesthetic and functional goals at once!
Consultations and surgeries should be performed by a board-certified plastic surgeon!
