Short Nose Rhinoplasty at VIBE Plastic Surgery!
A case study of a 50s female patient who underwent short nose correction using autologous cartilage to reduce nostril visibility and improve her profile.

* Basic Information
# Female in her 50s
# The nose is short and looks upturned.
* Consultation
# Her biggest stress was that her nostrils were highly visible from the front due to a short nasal tip. She had been contemplating rhinoplasty for a long time before finally making the big decision to visit our clinic!
# While this was typically a case where donated rib cartilage would be used, the patient had a vague aversion to donated materials due to her age and preferred to lower the nasal tip using only her own cartilage. Therefore, we planned the surgery using both ear cartilages and the septal cartilage.
# We anticipated a satisfying nasal line by correcting the short tip while simultaneously raising the bridge line.
* Surgical Plan
# Nasal Tip Surgery (Short nose, bulbous nose correction)
# Nasal Bridge Surgery (Implant, osteotomy)

* Post-operative Progress
# We performed length extension while elevating the nasal tip using all available harvestable cartilage, including both ear cartilages and the septum. While harvesting from both ears might cause some discomfort, it serves as an excellent material for those who do not wish to use donated rib cartilage!
# We are very pleased that she is satisfied with the results of the surgery she chose after such long deliberation :)
Consultations and surgeries should be performed by a board-certified plastic surgeon!
