Ptosis Correction & Sunken Eyelid Correction (Fat Grafting)
A case study of a woman in her 20s who improved her tired appearance through non-incisional ptosis correction, sunken eyelid fat grafting, and dual canthoplasty.

* Basic Information
# Female in her 20s
# Eye-opening strength: Weak
# Current status and requirements: The patient wants to improve her tired and sleepy appearance caused by weak eye-opening strength. She also hopes to address the hollowness and multiple creases in the upper eyelids.
* Consultation
# Weak eye-opening strength can create a sleepy and fatigued impression.
# Sunken eyelids and multiple creases can further exacerbate this tired look. These can be corrected together through ptosis correction and eyelid fat grafting.
# Since she also wanted to improve the closed-off and stuffy appearance of the outer corners of her eyes, we planned to perform lateral and lower canthoplasty (dual canthoplasty) simultaneously.
* Surgical Plan
# Non-incisional ptosis correction
# Mango Canthoplasty (Lateral and lower canthoplasty, dual canthoplasty)
# Upper eyelid fat grafting

* Post-operative Progress
# The sunken eyes have been resolved, and a clear eyelid line has been created, making her impression much more vivid.
# If sunken eyelids are left untreated, they interfere with the eye-opening process, making it harder to open the eyes. This leads to lifting the eyebrows, which pushes eyelid fat further inward, causing more hollowness, which then further hinders eye-opening. This creates a continuous vicious cycle.
# Therefore, this phenomenon can be resolved through ptosis correction combined with fat grafting for the sunken upper eyelids.
# By opening up the back of the eyes through dual canthoplasty, the stuffy appearance was also improved.
