# There are several methods to correct forehead volume, including implants, fillers, and fat grafting.

1. Implants: These are not highly recommended these days due to risks such as infection, inflammation, scarring, and sensory loss.

2. Fillers: These have the advantage of not requiring fat harvesting or over-correction. However, they have a limited lifespan and may dissipate over time. In some cases, they can also leave a lumpy appearance.

3. Fat Grafting: Since some fat is naturally absorbed by the body, we perform a slight over-correction to achieve the desired effect. Consequently, bruising and swelling may be more pronounced immediately after surgery. However, once the autologous fat takes hold (engraftment), it lasts semi-permanently without major issues. An additional benefit is that fat grafting can result in a more radiant and brighter skin tone, leading to excellent overall results :)
