# The patient wanted to refine her mouth area, jawline, and double chin. We planned to use ultrasound to smoothly reduce heavy fat tissue without creating irregularities.

# Using ultrasound allows us to break down subcutaneous fat into fine particles. (Think of it as turning ‘orange pulp’ into ‘orange juice.’) This makes the fat liquid enough to be squeezed out through small openings, allowing for highly effective removal using only a small cannula.

# To address potential sagging after fat removal, we decided to refine the facial lines with a thread lift.

# ‘LipoSound’ is a device that uses ultrasound to emulsify fat. Because it liquefies fat particles—turning ‘orange pulp’ into ‘juice’—it offers several benefits:

1. It is much smoother; fat can be squeezed out like water without applying significant force, and it can be suctioned through a very small cannula. This results in less irritation, leading to faster recovery from bruising and swelling, and significantly less ‘bio-bond’ (post-surgical adhesions).
