Don't you usually look at the eyes first, and isn't the first impression decided by the eyes? :)

That's why, for their first plastic surgery,

Koreans, and East Asians in general, often have thick, fatty monolids or thin inner double eyelids. This can sometimes give a sharp or closed-off impression.

When these thoughts begin, the first thing people usually do is find a mirror and a pointed object like a toothpick at home. Then, they start creating lines while looking in the mirror... trying out various lines.

Those who want to experience the effect of epicanthoplasty or lateral canthoplasty often pull up their skin with their fingers or pull down the outer corner of their eyes. (Many people, in particular, will lift the skin around their glabella...)

Then they search through countless photos on Instagram, etc... (especially pretty ordinary people... who somehow look similar to them...)

They imagine, ‘This eye looks similar to mine... If I get double eyelids, I'll look like this...’ and then visit a clinic for a consultation. (That's generally what happens. :))

These individuals have clear desires. They usually have at least 2-3 desired eye photos saved on their smartphone. During consultations, they actively ask questions and use their fingers to show the desired line they want.

In fact, it's often easier to consult with such individuals because their desires are clear :) (as long as their demands aren't too unreasonable :()

Oh, an interesting point here is that in the past, many people showed celebrity photos, but nowadays, they often show photos of ordinary people and influencers from Instagram. :)

The conclusion is that the natural line you create by looking in the mirror with a pointer (probe, toothpick, etc.) is what you can consider closest to your own double eyelid line. Other people's photos are only for reference; the line that naturally forms on you will ultimately follow your skin texture.

After such considerations, if you visit a plastic surgery specialist's clinic for a consultation, you'll be able to see your imagined line more concretely.
